　　美國總統特朗普檢測出新冠肺炎陽性後，美國的確診病例繼續攀升，截至10月19日上午，已經累計確診8387799例。此前，美國《時代》雜志刊發十月刊封面：畫面上新冠病毒從白宮中噴出，形成一片紅色病毒雲，將雜志名稱“TIME”埋入其中。紅與黑的鮮明對比形成了強大的視覺沖擊力，引起了廣泛討論。

　　Recently, after the U.S. president Donald Trump testing positive for COVID-19, the October issue of the Time magazine features coronavirus billowing from the White House. 　　這一封面設計矛頭直指特朗普，指責他“不惜冒著被感染的風險，也要隱瞞病毒帶來的健康風險。他不惜犧牲他周圍的人、他的國家、甚至他自己——只為了不顯得自己軟弱無能。”

　　The outlet takes the president to task for “mocking health precautions, practically daring the virus to infect him.He would sacrifice those around him, the country, and even potentially his own health—anything it took not to appear weak.”

　　在八月，《時代》雜志就曾用特朗普在病毒海洋中游泳的漫畫作為封面，諷刺特朗普政府應對疫情時的不作為。
