截止目前，加拿大球迷组织“航海者”（The Voyageurs）已集结完毕，准备沿着所谓的“最后一英里”游行前往体育场。游行队伍从科学世界附近出发，那里的穹顶已被改造成一个巨大的世界杯足球模型。

该组织表示，球迷们被要求在下午12:30集合，30分钟后出发，他们将“高举旗帜，高声呐喊，一路高歌，为球队加油助威”。

温哥华大规模停电原因有些想不到

这是BC Place体育场举办的七场世界杯比赛中的第二场，此前该体育场已于周六迎来了世界杯首秀，澳大利亚队对阵土耳其队。

国际足联官方转售平台周三显示，今天比赛的门票价格从800加元到超过22000加元不等。不过，没有球票的球迷可以前往黑斯廷斯公园参加球迷节，或者参加大温地区的其他观赛活动。

目前，加拿大队在B组的另外两个对手——瑞士队和波斯尼亚与黑塞哥维那队——已经在洛杉矶展开了角逐。

瑞士队在首场比赛中与卡塔尔队战成1-1平，这使得小组中所有四支球队目前都积1分。如果今天瑞士队或波斯尼亚与黑塞哥维那队获胜，胜者将积3分并占据B组榜首，这将给加拿大队和卡塔尔队带来维持比分压力的挑战。
