2. 一般都是的. 有的可能會有政府資助.
3. Kindergarten 是屬於學校局管的, 5歲入, 免費
pre-school 一般是3歲起. 也有兩歲的, 但很少, 都是付費的.
對於如何選daycare, 提供下面些信息,
There are 2 types of Licensed Child Care: home-based and center-based. After you have the list of them, you may make a phone call to each of them. Some of the questions you might want to ask include:
1. Address
2. The age range of children registered
3. The hours of operation
4. The payment of fees
5. What kind of parent involvement is encouraged
6. Are there any special features of the program
7. What arrangements are there for the children in care when the operator is ill, on holiday or in case of emergency
8. Describe the program of activities for a typical day/week
And of course, you must ask if there is a space available. If not, if there is a waiting list and how long it is.
Where care is available and your impression is positive, you may make an appointment to visit. Set a time when you can observe the program in the facility and meet with the caregiver.
