- 时间: 2006-1-14 07:36自由党可恶吗?贪污,虚伪...是够令人讨厌的.保守党的价值观,伦理道德,我是比较赞同.但是为啥不投保守党,而选择自由党?
个人喜好是兴趣,如果是评明星,可以从喜好出发,投保守党.但是政治投票是选择谁来代表自己的利益.就象董事会选总经理,要能干,有才能,能为老板挣钱.而自由党正好的这个角色,虽然这个总经理有偷窃行为.
如果选择保守党,加国经济将更加依附美国.成为美国永远的附属.政治上将被绑上布什的战车,成为老美的马前卒.进一步放弃宽容,多元文化的国策,这些并不符合加国人的利益.
如果保守党的朋友听了不舒服,那就道句对不起.但是这是真实想法.
加上不喜欢保守党党魁哈勃这个反华的家伙和保守党反华政策,就更坚定了自己的选择. -

1. 05年6月，保守党领袖Harper、二号人物Stockwell Day带头在议会中掀起“中国间谍案”的调查，附和联邦情报官员的话说中国工业间谍使加拿大每月损失10亿。在同一时期内，多伦多市政府的一些议员也随之而动，要求市政府形成决议，要求联邦政府调查“中国间谍案”，该提案被几个洋人议员提出置疑，最后因反对票占多数未能通过。我们的华裔邹议员，投的是赞成票。
2. 05年6月，保守党外交事务发言人Stockwell Day要求联邦政府外交部长和国际贸易部长到国会外交委员会作证，就庞巴迪公司帮助中国修建西藏铁路一事提出“严肃询问”。藏人社团随后还到庞巴迪和北电总部示威，要求这两家公司撤出参与修建中国西藏铁路的协议。

7. 04年10月，中国五矿集团公司准备收购加拿大矿业公司诺兰达（Noranda），双方均有成交意愿。保守党外交事务发言人Stockwell Day率先批评中国五矿的劳工纪录。自由党议员David Kilgour也出面阻止这一收购。加拿大媒体谈了整整两周中国威胁论。诺兰达发言人对此很有意见：“事情绝对被政治化了。诺兰达是商业机构，我们不是政治组织。” “我不知道你是否去过中国，但那里的经济远比加拿大更市场化。”加拿大研究中加关系的专家曾提出，加拿大媒体及政党在“诺兰达事件”中的过激反应，透露出加拿大社会对中国认知，仍然停留在冷战时期水平。他们担心诺兰达一事会在加拿大引发“恐黄论”。
8. 04年4月，新民主党议员Pat Martin和保守党外交事务发言人Stockwell Day要求政府缩减对中国的CIDA经济援助。目前中国接受加国的援助额在加拿大排第四位，印度、孟加拉和喀麦隆。两个反对党声称，加拿大不应该送钱给中国，中国经济高速发展，可以送人上太空，有庞大的军队，还在抢夺加拿大的就业机会…..。CIDA官员表示，尽管中国经济高速发展，仍有很多贫困人口。
9. 03年3月，美国动员西方国家参与其推翻侯赛因政权的伊拉克战争，自由党克雷蒂安总理表明：没有联合国授权，加拿大将不派军队参加伊拉克战争。时任联盟党领袖的Harper和Day反对克雷蒂安的政策，在《华尔街报》上刊登文章，指总理的立场“严重错误”，表明加拿大反对党－联盟党将支持美英的立场。05年12月，Harper 又表示他不会支持加拿大派军队到伊拉克参战。
10. 01年6月，时任联盟党领袖的Stockwell Day在国会发表演说，主张加紧控制移民及难民申请，限制被拒申请者的申诉机会。这一主张与该党移民事务发言人、华裔议员麦鼎鸿的意见相左，迫使麦鼎鸿愤然离开联盟党Caucus，一年后加入当时的渐进保守党。 -

It suppresses the freedom of its own citizens, and especially the freedom of minority people in Tibet and Xinjiang. Its spokesmen have no more credibility than spokesmen from similar totalitarian states which exist today and have existed historically eslewhere in Asia and Europe.
All totalitarian states survive based on fear. Spying and controlling the activites of their citizens and organizations including business corporations is normal for such states. I certainly hope that Canada is vigilant in defense of Canadian interests in all of its dealings with the PRC.
Your references to Stockwell Day's postions are good reasons to vote Conservative. Under the Liberals Canada has become a haven for all kinds of terrorists and individuals who are not commited to the interests of Canada,.... Islamic, Tamil, Sikh etc. It is time someone looked out for Canada's interests.My only concern is that political correctness and pressure from ethnic lobby groups will make the Conservatives back down from doing what is right.
As to the 2 quotes below from your post, why would you assume that Canadians of Chinese origin should be motivated by race, rather than their personal views and their own concerns about Canada's interests, like any other Canadian.

什么是the interests of Canada呢？我想，不同的人也会有不同的答案，有人关心政治，有人关心人权，有人关心宗教，也有人关心经济。关心的方面不同，对加拿大和中国的关系就会有不同的观点。加拿大与中国的关系如果恶化，加拿大经济必然受损，受害的是所有的加拿大人。宗教狂、人权激进分子等也许宁愿加拿大经济受损也要满足他们内心的“政治正确性”，但我相信更多的加拿大人更关心加拿大的经济状况和自己的家庭生活。
中国是加拿大第二大贸易伙伴，加拿大能承受与中国交恶的后果么？地球人都知道，在野党打“民主牌”和“人权牌”，无非是为了借此攻击执政党的对华政策，甚至不惜牺牲加拿大人民的经济利益。

Do we want a puritanical theocracy of christianity for Canada ? Hell no ! If they win a majority, gay peoples are the first they will go against. Who are the next ? Jews, Muslims, Chinese...
Economically, many peoples were deceived by the resemblances between the Conservatives and the US Republicans, such as lower taxes, smaller governments, and freer markets. However, did anyone see under the administrations of Regan, Bush Sr. and Bush Jr., there were/are huge deficits, jobless rates, and slow growing rates. The worst, the number of people without health insurance is much higher in States. It was disgusting to see the elderly have to pay more than half portion,sometimes even upto 80% , of their pensions for medications. On the contrary, it was that the Liberal-like Democratic party usually gave the economy big boasts.
I had lived in deep south of the States for more than 6 years. What I feel is: The so called "conservative movement" blinded poor peoples' eyes using the religious belief, and caught the richest peoples' hearts using lower taxes. The conservative movement has long been snatched by the right wing ultra extremists. The ultimate price they have to pay is a vicious cycle: The poorer you are, the more you vote for the Republicans, and you became poorer.
Nonetheless, the Liberals are corrupted, they need a harsh lesson. A defeat is inevitable at the this point.
