There are tow other pole action exercises you will find useful later on.
Do them on level ground only.
in the first exercise pretend your are going to make a stem christie turn to the left.
From your running position, stem the right ski into the V-position,
lowering your body as you do it.
plant your left pole into the snow,
close to the shovel (the forward part) of your left ski.
Raise your body again, pushing down on the pole and as come up.
Step your left ski alongside your right ski.
