Increase the bend in your knees and ankles.
place the right pole into the snow about halfway to the right ski tip
and a few inches away form the ski.
keep your elbow down.Do this exercise alternating.
Come up and withdraw the pole at the same time.
the poles in a slow rhythm.
Down -pole-up, down -pole-up, down-pole-up.
Find a very gentle slope that has a long outrun.
Try the same exercise while skiing down the fall line.
There are no turns involved- simply the experience of planting the poles with the proper timing as your are moving down a hill.
