The correction is basic to sitting back errors in all maneuvers.
As you start the turning movement ,
thrust your hips forward so that they stay positioned directly above the feet,
and do not drop back behind them.
your knees should be pushed forward of the ankles.
The break at the waist is only a sideways bend.

Start in a traverse across the slope.
make a christie into the hill in the same manner you have been practicing,
but don't come to a complete stop.
As your momentum starts to slow up near the end of your turn, stays in the traverse position ( downhilll sholder held back, sideways break at the waist.)
