then practice making parallel christies into the hill from progressively steeper traverse,
as your starting traverse line gets steeper and steeper,
you will pick up more speed in the traverse.
The trick is to start the turn before you are going so fast you can not concentrate on the movements.
To avoid ski a shorter distance in the traverse position,
and then start the christie into the hill sooner than you did on previous practice runs.
Also, as your starting traverse line gets steeper,
your comma position will become more pronounce.
in each of these parallel christies into the hill,
you must stay in the turn tntil the tips of your skis are pointing back uphill and you have come to a stop.
