lower your body just a bit.
then with an up motion by straightening the ankles and knees
relax the edge pressure and allow the backs of the skis to start skidding sideways.
now, as you sink back into a position of increased knee- and ankle -bend turn the skis uphill by turning the feet and knees into the hill.
your upper body stays in its original traverse position,
leaning out over the outside boot..
your weight remains on the lower ski through the entire turn.
your objective is to start the skis skidding and then apply turning force to them,
while you push your hips towards your boots.
as in all maneuvers, lean to do this in both directions before trying the next one
