The Mt. Baker Highway is closed for the winter at mile 54.7 at the Bagley Lakes trailhead and upper ski area parking lot. Austin Pass Picnic Area, Heather Meadows Visitor Center, Lake Ann Trailhead, and Artist Point are not accessible in a vehicle. Hazard tree removal will close Mt. Baker Hwy 542, Sept. 30 - Oct. 4 at mile 35.5 (Canyon Creek Road), between the hours of 8: a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Dial 511 for mountain pass and road conditions in Washington.
