Brief synopsis:
Princess Odette and her companions have been turned into swans by the evil magician Baron von Rothbart.
At night they change back to human form.
Prince Siegfried meets Odette at the Lake and is transfixed by her.
She explains he must swear his undying love to break the spell.
He is tricked by RvB and the spell is now permanent.
In the final act they decide to die together...
