you can keep on switching between the two, but at any given time only one can be used. that's what i think.

i guess switch account will *not* erase the book on the device. you probably won't be able to read the book you buy with another account, but as soon as you switch the account back, you should be able to read it.
it's just a guess, since I have never tried this. let me know if it's true if you try it.
