地板用深色還是淺色？

One word: trend.

Builders pick dark color because it is a trend in the last few year. Now they are switching the trend so we can "renovate" and change the floor (i.e. they make money). Otherwise, most floor has 15 years warranty or above, do you think they will wait that long to make money again?

這麼多顧客沒有自己換自己的地板的。

要不是地毯改地板，就是新買的屋老地板有損壞或很薄的那種。

以前我們國人愛beech不得了，60%以上都是beech。現在幾乎沒人要了

要說顏色和圖案（木種）還是看北歐的，那裡總是出新品，大家都跟著。北美就是maple和oak，不同顏色罷了。就像服裝，總會有意無意地跟著潮流走，許多還很好還能穿的都donation了。

至於warranty是說制造工藝和表面的耐磨度，比如商業入門級別的比家用級別的life warranty還高，但在商業上只保證3-5年。
