（加西網綜合）昨晚大雖然濃霧籠罩，大溫地區的極光愛好者依然熱情不減，紛紛外出尋找最佳觀賞地點，捕捉夜空中絢麗多彩的北極光景象。
截至今天周二，大溫地區仍處於濃霧警告之下。
受一個高壓脊持續的影響，大溫近地層水汽滯留。部分社區在上午晚些時候和下午可見短暫晴朗陽光，但夜間濃霧再度回流，能見度明顯下降。與此同時，溫哥華國際機場（YVR）因大霧出現大范圍航班延誤和取消。
美國國家海洋和大氣管理局（NOAA）旗下的空間天氣預測中心表示，周一（1月19日）下午2時38分（東部時間），監測到一次G4級（嚴重級別）地磁風暴。該機構指出，由於太陽拋射出的日冕物質拋射（CME）影響，夜間仍可能維持G4級別的地磁活動。
受此影響，在夜色最深的時段，北極光迷人的綠色與紫色光芒橫跨北美大片地區，在天空中舞動。
氣象專家表示，菲沙河谷地區因較少受到濃霧影響，是觀賞北極光的理想地點；此外，位於低層霧氣之上的高海拔地區，也為觀測極光提供了更佳視角。
根據V.I.A.的報道，盡管昨晚能見度受限，不少大溫居民仍在周一深夜成功拍下令人驚歎的極光畫面。

霧中追光 市民分享震撼極光照片
.在本拿比，Shambhavi Tayshete於凌晨3時左右捕捉到淡綠色與翠綠色交織的神秘極光。本拿比山因地勢較高、交通便利，成為極光獵人的熱門地點。攝影愛好者Summer Rain在午夜時分拍下強烈的綠色光暈，以及遠山與海面上方若隱若現的柔和光帶。
Jon Yyl也在同一時間於本拿比山拍攝了多張照片，並在後期處理中呈現出淺綠、紫色與深藍色交織的華麗色調。Ajay Kh則在凌晨3點前用iPhone記錄下極光的變化，他表示，即使肉眼也能清楚看到極光形態不斷變幻，“非常震撼”。
此外，高貴林蘭（Coquitlam）的Trish Van Leeuwen於凌晨2時拍下舞動的極光，北溫的Andrew Chin也記錄了這一奇觀。AJ Reid稱在溫哥華市區上空看到了極光，但未透露具體地點。
Reddit網友No_Research550則在溫哥華市最高的自然觀景點——伊麗莎白女王公園（海拔約125米）拍攝並分享了多張照片。

在大溫以外，Porteau Cove這一著名觀星地點同樣迎來極光盛宴。YT Kuah與本地天氣愛好者Ryan Voutilainen分別拍下令人屏息的畫面，照片中深紫與明綠光芒在群山之上交相輝映。
