It gives two examples of how the Making Home policy would work.

In the first case, a woman who has owned a single-family home for 35 years would be able to develop her home into four units. She could keep one for herself and sell three.

In the other example, four friends buy a single-detached home using a joint mortgage and turn that into a multi-unit dwelling.
