What is future of learning?

Just watched the video from Mr. Sugata Mitra about building a school in the Cloud.
As we may not realize, the school system we have it today only started 300 hundred years ago, but the civilized process for human being has been through for thousands of years. The question is: Did we learn anything before we have so called "school"in our society?

Confucius said, "I can do nothing for those who do not ask themselves what to do." Learning, deepdown in the root, is about to find answer, isn't it?.
It is a really open-minded speech.
