溫市西區一幢樓高9層、有62個單位的支援房屋周四揭幕。省長簡蕙芝（Christy Clark）表示，省府計劃在溫市建14幢支援房屋，隨著新柏文的完成，至今已有7幢落成。
投資逾2千萬 完成省府計劃一半
這幢名為桑福德柏文（Sanford Apartments）的支援房屋，位於杉樹街（Fir St.）夾西7街（W. 7th Ave.），斥資2,230萬元，由省府、溫市府及多間非牟利機構共同承擔。
簡蕙芝說，本省房屋政策在本國歷史上屬最先進，而桑福德柏文的揭幕具有裡程碑意義，它讓省府的14幢支援房屋的目標完成一半，如果沒有溫市府和安居基金會（Streetohome Foundation）的合作，幾乎不可能做到。
無家可歸者:很高興有了家
溫市長羅品信（Gregor Robertson）強調，市內無家可歸者問題已有所改善，有信心在2015年之前解決問題。
安居基金會主席特恩布爾（Rob Turnbull）指出，基金會撥出了2,000萬，與省府及溫市府合作展開8個建築項目，而桑福德柏文則是首幢啟用的支援房屋。
即將入伙的住戶安東尼（Anthony）表示，以前每年都要搬家4次，當獲知可以入住新大樓時，興奮得每周都會到工地看看，現在終於有了自己的家，可以做想做的事。
桑福德柏文落成後，目前溫市還有3幢支援房屋正在興建。

Under Christy Clark, the office of the premier has had more than a 100% increase from the dearly departed Campbell, who in 2010/2011… spent a mere $205,139.95 in his last ( not even) year in the premiers office.
Good God!! Is this woman for real?
$475,015.79 ?? Nearly a half a million dollars for the premiers office alone? Shades of Bev Oda!! Wine, dine, travel and more wine, trinkets and baubles and, and… phew.
Is this government even on the same planet as you and I?
