连续两首单曲在美国大热走红之后,《Set Fire to the Rain》作为第三首打榜单曲派台,此前已经在欧洲和英国以单曲形式发行,作为《21》中比较有“流行乐”味道的歌,这首歌融合了灵魂乐与节奏蓝调,中版的旋律也十分抓耳。歌词方面则再度沿袭Adele的“苦情路线”,只是这次变得更加“强势”更加“直接”。尤其歌词中的:“你有我永远都不会知道的一面,你说的那些话从来都不是真的,这场游戏永远都只有你是胜利者”这一段特别让人感同身受。进来,该单曲成功在无mv无宣传的情况下,在美国连冠两周。至此,《21》已经在美国实现一专三冠。同时,据ADELE经纪人表示,Rumour Has It将成为Adele在美国的四单。
