指挥官表示：“潜艇只需要在海上就能在我们的水域发挥威慑作用，因为只要我们的对手或世界上任何行动者知道潜艇在海上，他们就需要三思而后行，才能在我们的水域采取行动，如果我们没有被发现，我们可以同时出现在任何地方。”
虽然 HMCS 科纳布鲁克号目前在北温哥华停留期间不会有任何游览，但今年夏天可能会开放。
