I am an Israeli jew, and I want you to not get confused with the sincere sweetness of the settlers, some of them want peace but the settlements project itself is a story of deep exploitation and massive human rights violations of Palestinians. Millions of Palestinians are kept locked in their houses by the military every time there is a security tension, checkpoints and walls cross all the neighborhoods. They don't have access to water and electricity and the worst of all- the Israeli government is the informal regime of the Palestinians, who don't have citizenship and are not allowed to vote to the Israeli parliament. When Israel is asked about this human right violations, the authorities usually reply that the occupation is contemporary, and as soon as a peace accord is achieved, the Palestinians will have their state and serenity. But the truth is that as you see, very 'cute' and 'nice' settlers live there (and most of them are totally racists, violent and even terrorists, but this video is a cherry picking of the normal ones) Israel will not withdraw the occupied Palestinian territories and of course, the Israeli government won't officially annex the occupied Palestinian land because, well, Israelis really hate the idea of giving Palestinians equal rights and citizenship, and if Israel annexes the land without guaranteeing full rights, it will be considered Apartheid and the world will be angry. So, the Israelis found a very sophisticated idea- to de facto control the area, like it was official part of the state of Israel, to settle there settlers forever and to call it a 'contemporary occupation'.
