Job Title: Assistant Regional Manager
Department: Field Operations Department
Position Overview:
This position will travel to a specific franchise (independently owned) sushi bars or grill concept in various regions to carry out proper operational procedures and management of the location. Assistant Project Managers tasks, involve training of personnel, program management, and new concept development. Reports to Regional Manager and Division Manager
Job Responsibilities:
• Discuss business operations, procedures and strategies for both sushi and grill operations (Hot Foods).
• Development and support franchisee and chefs on operations.
• Communicate with store management.
• Maximize sales and profitability.
• Kitchen equipment set up/location set up for new concepts.
• Train franchisees and chefs on food preparation, cooking techniques, and sanitation.
• Log book training for both Sushi and Hot Foods.
• Train FC on proper on line ordering for FC’s.
• Audit food safety.
• Support and operate AFC Management location nationwide.
• Communicate closely with Project Manager or Regional Managers on all aspects of operations.
• Monitor and log daily sales on sales reporting.
• Follow up on training on technique and food safety guidelines.
• Assist Regional Managers on scheduling and maintaining proper inventory for operations.
• Duties included but not limited to as described above.
Secondary Job Functions:
• Track daily sales data trends and follow up with customer service
• Manage and supervise staff for AFC locations
• Development of new menu items and calculation for food cost.
• Communicate and source local supplies and equipment.
Position Requirements:
-• Experience in Sushi operation is a must
• Have previous experience in restaurant management and multi-line, preferably in sushi industry
• Must be able to travel out of state for extended periods of time
• Minimum 2 – 3 years experience managing/supervising staff
• Must be a team player
• Must be well organized and self motivated.
• Must have good communication skills, oral and written
