高贵林港 Intermediate Accountant
Position Summary
We are looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join our team at Season Fresh Trading Inc. This position will be involved in our financial operations and month end processes. We are looking for someone who can work hard to meet deadlines, with a passion for working in a very stable and well-respected organization in Coquitlam.
Major Responsibilities
• Prepare payments to suppliers and perform A/P duties;
• Enter bi-weekly payroll data / summit payroll remittances in a timely manner with accuracy;
• Prepare the monthly financial statements;
• Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations;
• Complete GST, PST, and WCB returns within due dates;
• Assist with the year-end working papers;
• Other related accounting tasks as required.
Requirements
• Diploma or degree in accounting
• At least 3 years’ experience in a full cycle accounting role
• Experience with accounting system (Sage 50) or payroll software (EasyPay) is an asset
• Moderate to advanced proficiency in Excel
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with the team in English. Knowledge of Mandarin/Cantonese is an asset.
