I have been looking for such tools for long. Consider it might be useful for others, so here are two options found recently:
1. Autodesk's ScreenCast
Features: it can record keystrokes and mousemoves and allow users to show optionally. This can be useful for online demo.

2. https://github.com/NickeManarin/ScreenToGif
Not tried myself yet. Have seen great content made by it.
