看到有人驚訝於為什麼BCTF的罷工居然有40%的支持。因為如果按照加西網民調，能4%支持就不錯了。

這裡，簡單看看BC省的公職員工有多少。

首先，看BC省四大公職員工工會

CUPE BC

CUPE BC represents 85,000 workers in more than 170 local unions and across many different sectors.

BCGEU

The BCGEU is one of the largest and most diverse unions in British Columbia. We represent approximately 67,000 members in more than 500 bargaining units in the private sector and public services.

注：這裡所說的private sector大部分指的是那些曾經是政府部門，但是被私有化或者外包成立的公司，aka基本靠吃政府財政飯的NGO或者私人公司

BCNU

The BC Nurses' Union represents about 40,000 nurses and allied healthcare employees. Included are Registered Nurses, Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Licensed Graduate Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Employed Student Nurses and healthcare support staff.

BCTF

The British Columbia Teachers' Federation (BCTF), established in 1917, is the union of professionals representing 41,000 public school teachers in the province of British Columbia, Canada.

以上四個是主要的工會，還有很多小的公職（或者准確說吃財政飯員工）的工會或者類工會組織。比如說

Federation of Post-Secondary Educators of BC

The Federation of Post-Secondary Educators is British Columbia’s largest union working exclusively for educators in the post-secondary education sector. FPSE is a federation of local unions and currently represents over 10,000 individual faculty and staff in public colleges, university-colleges, institutes and agencies, as well as in the private sector.

UBC的AAPS

The Association of Administrative and Professional Staff is a member services organization representing the Management & Professional group in their employment relationship with The University of British Columbia. AAPS represents over 3700 M&P staff at UBC.
