请问，什么季节适合打草根？现在行吗？打草根前要先剪草吗，还是打完草根再剪草？

还有，一年打一次草根还是两次？

Lots of yard work though during the summer time, I will try to pull the un-wanted roots out at least one or two times per week - at least one or two hours each time. icon_mrgreen.gif


you sound like my co-worker....that's what she told me she did too...i am going to wait for the kid(s) older and have them do it...


You will enjoy doing this during the beautiful summer time - especially for us office ladies. My kids always help, but not expect too much though.

Personally I like the smell of fresh grass and the feeling to be close /touch the green......

we didn't have his number!!!!! tiger3.gif we probably misplaced it...so we are going to watch for them every weekend now try to catch him, for sure he will come work for the neigbours...i will get it then and give it to you (they are vietnamese). have you tried the one huahua gives you? she gives me one contact too. i can forward that one to you now if you want.

let me try to remember....i think they 打草根 and fertilized the lawn...for $75-$90 once...don't remember the exact amount..

去年打了草根。说说我的想法。我家草地的外观其实还可以。但因为出现青苔，而且有蔓延的趋势，听人介绍，打草根可以解决此问题。于是请人弄了（我的感觉就是把草和土整个的刨去一层）。但是，打了草根后1、没有解决青苔的问题，当年好似少了一些，这几天去看了一下，又是一堆一堆的生气勃勃2、去年打好草根后，黄土的颜色露出来的地方不少，东一块西一块的好像得了皮肤病3、去年整个草地好像比病了一场，青草恹恹的没有一点生气。结论：打草根的效果，没有我想象的那么好。今年不想打了，看一看再说。

所谓“打草根”应该就是英文中说的 dethatching, 就是把陈年积累在地表形成的枯草叶层等去除,在温哥华,也会除去往往长得比草还旺的苔藓(moss),以便新的草芽能够顺利萌发,因此一般在早春进行。

这种操作往往也会给草坪带来伤害,要在打完草根后,进行施肥等,给草坪一个修养生息的过程。也因为这是一种伤害性的操作,对于一般草坪来说,一年最多进行一次。

至于是先剪草还是先打草根,我个人更喜欢先剪草,毕竟上面草叶太多,不利于清除下面的枯草叶。

打草根只是对付moss的一个步骤,还要撒lime,施肥,草地需要保养,不然moss不可能得到控制

我看了一下,我家草坪那个状况,今年还是请人来做吧,等形势得到了控制再自己来。尤其是除了moss以后的waste,估计city要double charge我了
