请问家里一个modem几个电脑的连接

我用的是shaw cable, 把一根cat 5e 线一头接modem, 另一头里面的八条小线拿出来，按颜色与墙里的3根cat 5e 线的小线用螺帽拧好。别的房间里，有与这三根线相连的outlet. 我用一根cat5e线从outlet 连到电脑上，结果没信号.

各位高手，请问我在那里出错了呢？

线路都检查多遍了，都通了，没短路，没错线。
有人说接头太多，而且不正规，不够过，是这样吗？要不要弄个amplifier?

这个好像是无线的，是不是有线的会好点？墙里的线我都有了，不大想浪费.

太感谢了，看来我的问题solved. 从图上看，switch 对我来说应该不用，对不对？
