據第九類消息來源報道：第987654321屆灶神年終總結大會於紫薇恒時間xxxxxxxxxx-xxxx（北京時間2011年元月27日）在靈霄殿西七話廳隆重舉行。26日晚，玉帝舉行盛大歡迎宴會以志慶賀。按慣例，玉帝會到一個分區宴廳祝酒。本屆輪到的是北美分區。陪同玉帝祝酒的有太白金星李長庚等有關仙官。
當玉帝來到北美分區宴廳時，眾灶神紛紛起立歡呼，玉帝頻頻舉杯致意。

習慣在月歷上記一些預約什麼的，今年沒有人送，決定自己做一個。隨便挑了幾張UBC附近拍的照片，配上日歷，打印出來，往牆上一掛，感覺還不錯。不敢獨享，送給大家！

多年以前上英文課時寫了一些作文，有的是自己的回憶，有的是家鄉的介紹，也有的是自己的一些想法。貼到這裡供大家一笑，也為自己保留一些記憶......

Ma’anshan – a Legend
I lived in Ma’anshan for almost 20 years. It is a city of medium size. Half century ago there were only several villages and small towns near the east bank of the Changjiang River. There were two coke blast-furnaces also. These two furnaces had become run down. However they were the origin of the Ma’anshan Steel and Iron Company which became one of the top eight steel companies in china in the 1960s. The city grew up with the company. And in the 1970s, more than 70 percent of workers in the city got their job in that company.

<b>The Islands in the Changjiang River</b>
There was so many islands in the Changjiang River, especially in its lower reaches. Some of these islands are quite large; they may stretch to 20 to 50 kilometers. But some are rather smaller; they may be only a few hundreds of meters long. Most of them are about several kilometers long and one or two kilometers wide. My mother was born in such an island and my grandma lived there till her passed away.

2010年10月20日，在我從中國回到溫哥華不足一星期，我親愛的媽媽離我們而去，永遠......
接到弟弟的電話，我的淚水止不住的流，錐心刺骨的痛、無盡的悔...... 14日離開上海前，我已經知道媽媽因腦梗
塞被送進了醫院，但因機票無法改簽，又擔心工作，再加弟弟說已搶救過來，我還是回到了溫哥華。誰知......
我9月剛剛回中國陪媽媽度過她88歲生日，並陪伴了媽媽3個多星期。去年媽媽生日，我也曾回國陪伴了媽媽。
可是，想起來仍是無盡的悲傷！媽媽把我們養育大，一生操勞，只希望看到我們活得好。可惜我連這一點都沒能做到。媽媽一直以為我過的辛苦，我很想把她接來，讓媽媽看看我其實過得很好，可是卻未能實現，而且再也不能實現.....

早餐時領導發表談話：昨天同事清我們吃lime，黃黃的，很甜很好吃。
女兒：lime不是綠色的嗎？檸檬才是黃色的吧？
領導：No，檸檬是yellow，我們吃的lime是黃色的！我們同事說那是sweet lime。很甜很juicy。。。
兒子插話：大家都說sweet。。。
女兒：檸檬也很多汁。
WhyNot對子女：檸檬是yellow，lime是黃色的。檸檬很多汁，lime很juicy。明白了吧？
