Speaking briefly with reporters in Stanley Bridge, PEI, where he is meeting with residents affected by Hurricane Fiona, PM Justin Trudeau responded to a question about possible federal funding for infrastructure repairs & climate mitigation.
Canadians have already donated more than $5.6 million to @RedCrossCanada this week. And because we’re matching every dollar, that means more than $11.2 million is heading to people impacted by Hurricane Fiona. The storm caused serious damage, and more help is needed.
