Yes. There will be labor shortage at this moment. But the labor shortage is for those who has high skills for developing AI and planning the blueprints of AI future. It is not a shortage of general office workers. If all businesses still hire the same amount of workers which just do high level of work, the total costs will increase after adding AI costs. This article asked a fundamental question: how to deal with the wealth distribution in the AI times? Basically, private investments cannot solve this problem unless those powers are owned by the governments or the public which represent the interests of the most populations. Wealth will concentrate rapidly to a small group of wealthy people who can control the whole world. Those powers must be under control of our governments. The American politicians are now playing games very hard to showcase their positions against CCP. However, it will not help the US to become strong again. It is mostly fear-driven movements to pretend the show heavy hands on China. They even know those bills do not work very well and just a waste of tax-dollars. Stock markets are platforms for financial games which do not mean the true values of shares. They are basically the prices of each share. Not all shareholders can cash out their shares with the current prices. Current share prices are determined by the most current transaction prices even though there is only one share as an extreme assumption. But prices will drop if all shareholders want to cash out. I got problems with CRA almost every year. Sometime CRA made mistakes by its computer systems. It sent out letters with penalties. I have to call CRA to make them right. They created workloads by themselves and lowered efficiency. Fortunately, I got mistakes corrected fairly quickly and did not wait for very long time. It is not good enough. But definitely it is not very bad as described in this article. There must be some worst cases I believe. But it is not totally fail. 贊踩 2 回復 0
