美國加州99號公路圖萊裡郡（Tulare County）路段，1月31日早上8時17分許驚傳59輛車連環撞，目前傳出有多人送醫．輕傷和重傷的都有，尚不清楚是否有駕駛或乘客死亡。

據《ABC》報導，圖萊裡郡消防局表示，濃霧是造成這起連環車禍的原因之一，加州巡警隊的岡薩雷斯（Adrian Gonzalez）透露，當地受大霧影響，能見度僅為100至200英尺（約30至60米）。

99號公路事故路段目前仍雙向封閉，圖萊裡郡呼吁民眾開車遇到濃霧時，最好減速慢行、增加與前車的距離並保持警惕，避免發生意外。
