新加坡绞刑处死澳洲毒贩

BBC消息，新加坡处死一名越南裔澳大利亚人，他向新加坡走私毒品。澳大利亚司法部长菲利浦·鲁道克谴责说新加坡的做法野蛮。
一个新成立的反对新加坡死刑的组织也谴责了对这名澳大利亚人阮墙云处以绞刑，说这种做法不人道。

澳大利亚没有死刑，澳大利亚政府呼吁新加坡宽容，但是新加坡说法律必须执行。

在阮墙云被处死前，他母亲获准握住他的手。

阮墙云3年前在新加坡被捕，当时他正在柬埔寨和澳大利亚之间旅行，他当时携带了400克海洛因。

好了，上面是开个玩笑。但西方国家有些人成天喜欢为一些十恶不赦的歹徒们奔走叫冤，所以等哪一天他们/她们自己成了犯罪的受害人，那就是报应、活该了！

是啊，澳大利亚也是出产葡萄酒的大国，我也很中意他们的Shiraz。上个月朋友给我带了两瓶02年的Kies Chaff Cabernet Sauvignon，非常棒！有浓郁的樱桃及巧克力香，配黑森林蛋糕再好不过了。老兄要是也喜欢红酒，大力推荐！

I went to the Hunter Valley Wine Tour few years ago when I was in the down-under. Had a good time! I can't believe the size of the Lindemans....just spectacular! Small boutique wineries are also fantastic. I stayed there for 3 days, God! I had so much great wine that last night .... I was just so damn wasted!

We are of course well off topic. I am in Phoenix playing some golf and bought a bottle of "Three Blind Moose" California Merlot for $4.98.. It was absolutely drinkable. also went to P.F Chang's Chinese restaurant, not a Chinese person to be seen, not in the kitchen not among the customers. It was not Chinese food, but it was chinese inspired bar food which went down wwll with some excellent California Cabernet.

Then we went to a place called Sushi Brokers, no Japanese sushi chef (or Korean or Chinese pretending to be Japanese) just Mexicans. Excellent sushi in a lively bar atmosphere.

In Paris three weeks ago went to a tapas bar near the Madeleine. The chef made his own kind of sushi and the soya sauce had olive oil, grated orange rinds, chopped ginger and sesame seeds in it. It tasted great with sushi, less salty than straight soya sauce.

Down with cultural pretensions! Long live mixing and experimenting! We should form a club of wine drinkers and epicures at Westca.

Getting back to Singapore, I believe that capital punishment for drug smuggling is excessive and barbaric.
