38學區表彰了5名有特別成就的學生，我們有兩名學生通過機器人項目入選，好興奮。
另外三名選手是：8年級學生獲全國散文比賽大獎入選， 12年級學生組織和外太空站的實時通話並全球轉播，兩名畢業生創辦richmond idol項目。

對於孩子不同期望的的家長可以看一下下面的類別，申請時需要校長簽字。

1.	Academic nominations – recognition for Provincial and/or National academic awards
2.	Community Partnerships nomination – significant contribution to district goals, major financial support, and/or continuous and sustained partnership (i.e. 5 yrs, 10 yrs, etc.)
3.	Community Services/Volunteerism/Leadership nominations – within one or more of these sub-categories (Community, Parents, Staff, or Students) and with a connection to one other area of Special Recognition.
4.	Fine Arts nominations – significant contributions/talent displayed in Dance, Drama, Music, or Visual Arts and with a connection to one other area of Special Recognition.
5.	Sports – recognition for placing First in Lower Mainland & District division; or First, Second or Third at the Provincial level or First, Second or Third at the National level.
6.	Technical Trades – for placing First in Lower Mainland & District division; or First, Second or Third at the Provincial level or First, Second or Third at the National level.
