Conversation With A Newly Joined Colleague
There is a guy in your office who has newly joined. You are having conversation with him.
Nilesh:- What's your name?
Ankit:- Ankit....
Nilesh:- Hi Ankit... I'm Nilesh.
Ankit:- Hello.
Nilesh:- When did you joined the office?
Ankit:- I had joined just a week before.
Nilesh:- Welcome to our office. I sit just behind you. I have been watching you since last two days. Then only i understood that you are new at office.
Ankit:- Actually i don't know anyone right now here that's why.
Nilesh:- So, before at which company you were working?
Ankit:- I am a fresher. And this is my first job. I have joined it as a trainee before 6months at another branch of it. A week before only they hired me as an employee.
Nilesh:- Ok, that's good. So, what have you done?
Ankit:- I have completed MBA in Sales and Marketting just now. For its training purpose I joined the company.
Nilesh:- So, you are working here as a sales representative.
Ankit:- Yes.
Nilesh:- Oh, that's great we are in the same field. I am now a sales manager.
Ankit:- Since how many years you are working here?
Nilesh:- I am here since last three years. I also joined this company as a fresher. This company and the working enviornment here is really very nice. I love it. You will also enjoy working over here.
Ankit:- I also hope so.
Nilesh:- So, what are your future plans?
Ankit:- Not yet think of it. Till now there was a aim of getting at least a good and descent job. Now i have got it. Now for at least 2-3 years i will work here only. Then will see what have to do.
Nilesh:- Ok. Lets go to canteen. Now its lunch time.
Conversation With Your Team Regarding New Project
You are a Team Leader. Having conversation with your team regarding new project.
Team Leader:- Hello everyone. There is a meeting at 1 in presentation room. So, everyone has to be there till 1.
(At 1 o'clock)
Team Leader:- Welcome everyone. Be seated. You all must be knowing that there is a new project that has been assigned to us. So, regarding that only we all have collected over here for discussion. Our client is ABC Limited Pharmaceuticals Company. They are one of largest manufacturers of medicine in MP. They want to automate their entire system that is they want a complete MIS for their organization. They have been working previously on an automated system but that have too many loop holes and now its unable to meet their requirements. That's why they want a complete new system.
Team Member1:- So , sir in that case we have to start right from the scratch for analysis or we have to study their older system first?
Team Leader:- See as they want a complete new system so in that case i will be going to the client's office within 2-3 days for analysis with 2 more team members. At that point it will be clear how we have to proceed. But i think once we have to study the older system.
Team Member2:- In that case we will need the documentation of the older system.
Team Leader:- I know, for that i will ask for a copy of documentation.
Team Member1:- Sir, till when this project will start?
Team Leader:- As soon as i will have one to one meeting with the client we start with the analysis process of the project.
Team Member3:- Till when Client needs this project?
Team Leader:- This has not been decided. He has just given the project. Till now nothing has been discussed regarding project.
Team Member2:- Sir, if you don't mind then for Questionnaire purpose can i come with you?
Team Leader:- This will be finalized later and will be informed. Till then here is a short brief about requirements need. I want everyone go through it. I have mailed a copy of this to everyone. Now the meeting is over. We will meet after 5days here only at 1o'clock for further discussion.
Conversation With Your Colleague Regarding Notice Period
You are working at a multinational company since many years and now suddenly a news came that notice period is extended to 3months. So all you and your office colleagues are having conversation on same.
Mr. Rao:- Hey, Mr. Mehta. Did you listened about the notice period news?
Mr. Mehta:- Yes, I do received a mail from HR regarding this.
Mr. Rao:- But this is bot fair. Before only that period was too long. No company wants to wait even for two months for any employee when they hire. And now they had extended this period of 2 months to 3 months. Now it will become more difficult for anyone to switch his job. No company will easily wait for such a long time.
Mr. Mehta:- I know. All these are actually the tricks of higher level managers to reatin the employees at same package.
Mr. Rao:- You are right. But this is pure exploitation of the employees.
Mr. Mehta:- But what we can do?
Mr. Rao:- This thing is really going to impact the future of employees to a great extent. When they will get a good job then hardly any company will agree to wait for 3 months. Like this it will become more and more difficult to get a good job at right time. And all this just because of this notice period.
Conversation Regarding Starting Own Business
John: Hey, Mac what's going on?
Mac: Nothing just came for a break. What happened to you? Since last few days you seem to be quite upset.
John: Daily client is shouting for the issues for which we are not even responsible. Now i can't bear this thing any more. And again the salary that we get is not enough to make our living.
Mac: That's true. But what can we do.
John: I'm planning to start my own business.
Mac: What type of business?
John: Same work, that we are doing right now but independently. Now i don't want to work under any boss. I want to be Boss of myself.
Mac: But for this you will need clients. From where you will get them.
John: Don't know. Will try to start from the local market. After all we need to take a start from somewhere. Else life will be spent like this only in thinking. Why don't you also join me.
Mac: Will you make me your partner?
John: Why not. See we are good colleagues and friends too. If we will work together there could be better outputs.
Mac: Why not lets go ahead with our plan and try out our luck.
John: Sure, if we will try God will also help us out.
Parent: I am Raghav's mother. How is he in the class?
Teacher: He is good but too notorious. He always completes his work as soon as possible and then he starts disturbing other kids in the classroom.
Parent: Oh, really. Its hard to believe as at home he is completely opposite of it. He is busy in himself only. In last meeting you told me that he does not responses in group but individually he does. What about that? Is their any improvement or not?
Teacher: Earlier, when ever we had any group discussion, he used to be very quite but one to one he was good. But by time he has improved and now he answers and sings rhymes in group also.
Parent: Few days back he was complaining that teacher didn't allowed me to sit me with my friends and was crying for it.
Teacher: Yes, i changed his place. And actually i use to change his place on regular basis as he doesn't listens me at all otherwise. As he becomes comfortable with his companion he stops listening me and is busy with his new friend. Because of this i use to change his place very frequently so that he may listen me.
Parent: Oh, my God. I asked him also that you must have done something wrong, like this only teacher will not change your place. But he said, no i didn't did anything. Do i need to give him some practice sheets at home?
