A customized paintball excursion where the targets are the brain-hungry walking dead is set to open in Langley, B.C., next month.
Ron McCall, the brains behind the operation, says the lure of battling zombies is sure to draw crowds.
"[I’ve had] one too many conversations with people bragging about what they would do in a zombie apocalypse so I said, 'OK I'm going to put you in one and let’s see what you do ‘cause I'm betting you are going to run scared.'"
McCall, who works in the movie business as a props guy, says the park will be fully interactive.
"[It’s a] zombie version of Tony and Tina’s Wedding," he said. "You become part of it and can play up you own character."
But instead of a wedding, park-goers will be armed with a paintball gun and let loose in a dark forest where 20 zombies lie in wait.
"Who doesn't want to go and shoot zombies?" McCall said. "I don’t know anyone who doesn't."
