New house has shining shower glass screen. If you don't take care of the glass in the shower, the damage to the glass will be permanent. The glass will have the foggy shadow forever.
The glass is made of the material which can be eroded by the liquid with PH value higher than 7. A lot of products ,such as: soap, cleanser, shampoo, and conditioner, have the high PH value. So, these products will actually make the more damages to the shower screen than your own body dirt.
The areas which are most exposed to the erosion are under your low half in the shower.
The suggestions to protect the shower glass are:
1. Regularly clean the glass (at least once every two weeks)
2. always use squeege to wipe the glass after the show, especially look after the lower parts of the glass.
