1. the market is the teacher, and we are all students.
這個有兩重意思。其一要尊重 the market，老師豈不比學生強，老師豈沒有權利決定出什麼樣的考題靠學生嗎？另一方面，每個交易者都只是學生，有的好一點有的差一點而已，千萬別把同學當成老師當成股神。
2. the market is not as smart as I thought, but I am no smarter than the market.
市場是可以研究的，是有規律的，當你掌握了其中的規律的時候，你就有了從中獲利的基礎。但是自以為市場一定會照著自己的想法走的後果只能是被市場開除學籍， 因為市場市場永遠是對的。
3. there is no perfect system.
我承認這一點，所以當我有了一個>65% winning ratio 的setups 後，我就開始交易了。當然，我的青蛙系統也在不斷完善，現在DT的winning ratio 遠遠高於2/3了。
4. You must have a money management strategy and a list of trading rules, and then stick with it.
I don't really care what the strategy or rules are, but if you dare to write them down, they cannot be too bad. Stick with them! That's where your edge is.
5. admit the market is not tradable sometime. do not trade because you are able to trade, but wait for your favorable setups.
散戶最大的錯誤就是沒有耐心。系統沒有信號的時候就是要等，不能說因為最近我缺錢所以要交易，今天我有空所以要交易，這些都不能成為理由。唯一能成為理由的只能是你的系統給了信號。
6. trade what I see not what I speculate or what others say.
參見第1和第4條。市場要傳達的信息已經都在圖裡了。消息只是借口而已，同樣的ER beats或jobless decline可以有完全不同的結果。有人會知道，但那絕對不是你我。
7. cut loss happily and take profit happily.
參見第 3 條。別讓一個loser ruin your whole day or 你辛辛苦苦建立起來的系統。同樣系統讓止贏了，千萬別因為少賺了20%就生氣。保持一個好的心態才能保證長期的成功。
8. record your loss and summarize where the problem is.
每一個loss可都是我用真金白銀換來的怎麼可以白白就這麼讓它溜走呢？
12.交易是做出來的，不是吼出來的。
如果你不去做的話，再好的系統也不能帶給你利潤。常常聽到有人講 "I know it". 我的回答是“too bad"。因為如果“I know it" comes from speculation, you will loss sooner or later, if it comes from your trading system, you should execute it.
