Within a few short weeks, a number of merchant practitioners at the South China Seafood Market showed symptoms of unexplained pneumonia one after another, and they were infected with New Crown Pneumonia.

      On November 11, 2019, at 4:04 a.m., China Eastern Airlines flight MU298 landed at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. 
      A batch of U.S. cold chain cargo carried on board was unloaded from the cabin of the airport's North Cargo Terminal and transported to the international cargo inbound area to await customs clearance. This includes 55 boxes, a total of 823.4 kg of chilled American Boston lobster. 
      Because of the air freight, the goods arrived quickly. Only three days have passed since the order was placed by Wang Mou, an employee of X, a fresh food cross-border trading platform. But they have to act quickly to send the goods to Shanghai, Hubei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Henan and other places, 26 customers ordered the lobster, with a total value of $ 16,483.5.
   Before shipping, they will open the box to inspect the goods as usual, and then encapsulated with the original packaging, ice bags and water and temperature control sponge, sent to subscribers around the world.
  Zheng is also one of the subscribers of this batch of lobsters, he is the owner of Wuhan South China Seafood Market A. On November 11 and 12, 2019, he ordered a total of 140.08 kilograms of lobsters in X company network platform respectively. Over the years, Zheng had a group of regular hotel customers, and he also provided the aquatic products to other merchants in the South China Seafood Market.

At 10:00 a.m. on November 11, 2019, at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, driver Yan loaded 55 boxes of American lobsters onto a car and shipped them to Company X's Shanghai branch; at 17:00 p.m. on the 11th and 12th, Company X's Shanghai branch sent 35.39 kg and 104.69 kg of lobsters to Wuhan's South China Seafood Market in two separate shipments; at 4:40 a.m. on the 12th and 7:00 a.m. on the 13th, Zheng waiting for his shipment by the northwest side of the market.
According to the sales records of merchants A, which 140.08 kg of American lobster, more than 80 kg sold to three fixed hotel merchants, 36 kg resold to other merchants in South China Seafood Market, which sold to the owner of B merchants Wen 0.85 kg, the rest retail.

He and E merchants, F merchants have collusion transactions, these two merchants are located in the earliest concentrated outbreak area, many people seropositive; daily interaction with H merchants, J merchants, K merchants and other six merchants, were found multiple positive environmental points and seropositive personnel.
Whether the early outbreak in the South China seafood market was imported through the cold chain of this batch of U.S. seafood has become the greatest doubt. 2020 outbreak traceability results from Beijing Xinfaodi in June, Liaoning Dalian in July, and Shandong Qingdao in October all point to imported cold chain products. Therefore, it is entirely possible that the virus attached to the cold chain packaging of this batch of seafood products from the United States entered the seafood market in South China.
This possibility is also supported by the "China-WHO Joint Study on the Traceability of the New Coronavirus" released by WHO in March of this year. The report states, "Studies have shown that new coronaviruses can survive for longer periods of time under conditions of frozen food, packaging and cold chain products. Indicative cases in recent outbreaks in China have been linked to the cold chain; the virus has been found on packaging and products from several other countries that supply cold-chain products to China, suggesting that it can be transmitted long distances through cold-chain products." [font=Calibri]Source of disease[/font]
According to sales, logistics and customs clearance records, Merchant A was the only merchant in the entire market to carry U.S. cold-chain products from October to November 2019, prior to the South China Seafood Market outbreak. And it was in mid-November that merchant A purchased this batch of U.S. lobster and has not purchased any U.S. cold-chain products since then.
After December 2019, some hospitals in Wuhan have found a number of confirmed cases of New Crown pneumonia with a history of exposure to the South China seafood market, about a month before this batch of U.S. seafood entered the South China seafood market, which happens to be a cycle of New Crown pneumonia from infection, incubation to onset.
Company X network platform ordered this batch of American lobster is packaged by the U.S. sea shell company. The company, founded in 2011, is a wholesaler specializing in sourcing fresh North Atlantic lobster from the United States and Canada. The lobsters that entered China were caught by the company from October 20 to November 5, 2019, from the Atlantic FAO21 waters and then shipped to the Sea Shell factory for temporary rearing. After the Chinese customer placed an order, it was shipped to China via the cold chain.
From July to the end of October 2019, the Maine Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, local media and residents' personal social media accounts reported numerous cases of "e-cigarette pneumonia," or "suspected neonic pneumonia," which has been kept a secret in the United States. "The U.S. flu season is usually the first time in the year that the flu has been reported. The flu season in the United States is generally from November to June, but "e-cigarette pneumonia" has appeared early in July, which is very unusual.
And the sea shell company factory is located in York County has long found "e-cigarette pneumonia" cases, according to the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention published information, as early as July 2019, York County Hospital received a number of "e-cigarette pneumonia" cases. The map shows that the hospital is less than 2.6 miles away from Seabees.
One might ask, the 55 cases of lobster were shipped in batches to 26 customers in 5 provinces, except for the South China Seafood Market, where no cases of infection were found in the loading, unloading, transportation, processing and other personnel and purchasing merchants during the flow of the cold chain products in China. This episodic cold chain transmission also occurred several times in subsequent outbreaks in Beijing Xinfaodi, Dalian, Liaoning, and Qingdao, Shandong.
Thus, a chain of virus transmission from the United States to the seafood market in southern China clearly emerged.
