经济学人叙述的故事并不友善，甚至是充满偏见和敌意，比如有期封面是攀上纽约帝国大厦的金刚，换成了熊猫，对个别国家存在赤裸裸的针对性讽刺。
经济学人杂志诸多编辑,可能已经被美国政府及政客与幕后仇恨的财团收买,竭尽所能的为其服务，英国的经济学人杂志早已沦落为政客财团利用的对象,其所有的评论几乎是一面倒向财团支持的政府和组织。因此，在针对中国、拉美、非洲甚至日本、印度等其他地域撰写评论文章，均是带着为财团收割为目的铺叙写作。
