As this very extraordinary year draws to a close, I would like to offer my heartfelt congratulations to all staff, students, and families for their remarkable joint efforts of making outstanding achievements in students' health and safety, academic achievements, university admission, and extracurricular life. This year, we had a 100% university acceptance rate for our graduating class. Our students gained acceptance to many renowned universities, such as University of Manchester, University of Queensland, University of Auckland, University of Toronto, McMaster University, Queen’s University, Western University. Cumulatively, 85% of our students received Scholarship, and the maximum was up to $19,000. On June 3rd, we had the honor and the privilege of celebrating the accomplishments of this year’s graduating Class of 2022, as well as the accomplishments of our current students. Reflecting on our journey since September 2021, what a better way to honor our journey and the incredible progress we’ve made than with this joyful video to UYS 2021-22! Please enjoy our much anticipated 2021-22 Year in Review video! These meaningful ceremonies reminded us that Upper York School education is about so much more than lessons taught and diplomas earned. It is a place with love, challenge, and competition, as well as a place to build confidence. As we continue our return to normal life, we encourage you to safely enjoy the summer months ahead. We wish you much rest and relaxation, and meaningful time spent with family and friends. I believe that we will emerge stronger and ready to write the next chapter of our collective story—the UYS Story—in September. We look forward to seeing you in September!
