(sorry I don’t have Chinese software on my computer) We had been to this restaurant a few times while it was still located on Kingsway due to its proximity to our home. We stopped going after a while. Examples of their poor service back then: The female boss was too pushy while ordering. She constantly criticized her staff in the restaurant, creating a very unpleasant atmosphere for the patrons. We asked for extra serviettes and never received them despite repeated requests. One time we ordered dinner for three with “free” soup. We could not finish the soup but the female boss did not allow us to pack it. I could understand that there may be some health regulations involved. But this has never happened to us. I hope they did not recycle it and sell it to some one else. One time I asked for more tea. The waiter walked by with a glass of tea in his hand. Instead of giving it to me , he just poured the tea from his glass into my glass and walked away. I was pretty much dumbfounded by his “service” or lack of. The only food item we liked was the 油条 and the rice roll with 油条 in the middle AND only when they are fresh.. All the other items are no better than the other competitors. Based on the poor service reviewed in this forum, I dare not even imagine how chaotic it would be in the kitchen. Therefore, the cleanliness and hygienic standard of the operation is highly doubtful. They are always short staffed and constantly hiring which comes as no surprise due to how the staff are being treated. My friends had lunch there on the weekend. They felt the food was overpriced and 油条 tasted very different than before. I had no plans of going there anytime soon. |

老油条的油条现在都不是原来的老油条做的了。 是由接手生意的小儿子学习阶段中实验的小儿子老油条。。。味道当然大不如前了。 而老板娘还是昔日的恶女人,服务当然是一如过往的。。。差了!  |
