Your success will be achieved by:
- Developing websites, prototypes, and applications using the latest front-end & back-end technologies
- Collaborating with Project Manager and Web Designer to achieve the best possible results in web projects from conception right through to delivery
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks meeting timelines, budget and high production
- Proactively diagnosing problems, self-driven, capable of defining own design and test scenarios
- While (skill < PHP_INT_MAX) learning++;
Must-Have Requirements
o Five or more years of Web Development experience – minimum 4 years in full stack.
o Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent at a North American Post-Secondary
o Proficient literacy in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).
o Is a Local resident.
• Skill Requirements
o Programming
Mastery of PHP and one or more MVC PHP Frameworks (ie. PhalconPHP, Laravel).
Mastery of MySQL relational database.
Mastery of WordPress as a platform for custom development using the best practices.
Mastery of HTML5, CSS3/SASS, Vanilla Javascript / jQuery
Proficient in Bootstrap, AngularJS / ReactJS
Proficient in web animations (GreenSock, jQuery, CSS keyframes)
o Server
Proficient in Linux server administration.
Proficient in AWS ecosystem (ie. EC2, RDS).
Proficient in Cloudlinux, cPanel administration.
Mastery of HTTP and REST.
Resource management, load balancing, application caching.
• Proven Experiences and Knowledge
o Web application architecture (SAAS application experience is asset).
o Experience creating multilingual sites.
o Version control (ie. GIT, bitbucket).
o Proficient with Adobe Photoshop.
o Eye for UI / UX effectiveness.
o Performance optimization for modern applications and browsers.
o Ensuring cross-browser compatibility across a variety of supported browsers
