A low pressure centre over the eastern pacific is approaching the south coast. The low is expected to reach Vancouver Island by Monday morning. Strong southeasterly winds up to 70 km/h ahead of the low will develop overnight. The winds are expected to ease Monday morning as the low moves inland.
