“If property tax increased by 100%, you can bet that your rent is going to look very ugly very soon.” How do you explain that Vancouver rent is actually cheaper than last year even when property price sky rocket? The rent was never be able to cover the price of the property. But because people are speculating property price will go up, that is the reason they keep buying it. Unfortunately, there are only so many land can build and if small portion of people own a big portion of house, that create supply problem. To fix it, one of the thing they can do is raise the cost of invest in real estate. 赞踩回复 0
