The BC New Democrats are vowing to freeze BC Hydro rates if elected.
NDP leader John Horgan made the announcement at a campaign stop Monday in North Delta, also touching on a pledge he made the day before in Surrey to eliminate bridge tolls.
Horgan also hinted at increases to health care and education spending, as well as investments in sustainable forestry, new hospitals, roads and public transit.
He didn’t offer much in the way of specifics or details, saying that would have to wait until the party unveils its official election platform on Thursday.
Voters are set to go to the polls May 9.
