And the student hadn’t shown up for something like two weeks, and then the professor got a phone call from the student asking how they could make up the assignments, and also informing that they wouldn’t be back in class for another few weeks until they were let out of jail. 我聽到的最差的逃課理由來自我在紐約學校工作的同事的學生。這個學生兩周都沒有在課上出現，然後教授接到了學生的電話，詢問有什麼方法可以補上作業。同時，學生也告訴教授他們還會缺幾周的課，直到他從監獄裡被放出來。 The weirdest excuse I got was that during the assignment at 3 in the morning, the computer broke.
